Norfolk status Local. Open woodland. Very local species, occuring mainly in southern England.
Fairly distinctive with its pattern of narrow pale oblique bars against a dark ground colour.
Leaf-mine: May - June gallery leading to a large, papery blotch.Recorded in 43 (58%) of 74 10k Squares. First Recorded in 1874. Last Recorded in 2023. Additional Stats
